Two tiered white cake covered with fondant with yellow fondant roses.
This is a blog of some random cakes I've made in the past. This is NOT all the cakes I've made, but unfortunately I do not have a picture of all of them due to just recently switching over to a digital camera. Please feel free to e-mail me at cakeit@live.com with any questions. Thank you!

Kandinsky Interpretation Cake
This cake was for a 40th Birthday Cocktail Party. The guest of honor was a huge fan of the artist Kandinsky and asked for a cake to resemble one of his paintings. His work is full of geometrical shapes and very modern designs. Bottom tier is wedding white cake with strawberry filling, top tier is triple chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. Cake is covered in fondant, hand painted with edible paint and accents are fondant.

Wine & Cheese
This cake was for a Wine Tasting. Cheese block and wedge are white wedding cake filled with sweet cream, covered with fondant. Grapes are fondant also. Usually I would make the wine bottle cake too but it did not need to feed that many at the party so I just used styrofoam, shaped to look like a wine bottle and covered it with fondant. The "label" is a replica of a painting featured at the Wine Tasting that evening.
